We are looking for someone to join us in a full-time position in our interiors/furnishing business.

This person will be expected to help in all areas of our business and must therefore be competent in various situations.

Working with us will potentially involve all of the following:-

 Serving customers, helping with/advising on interior design and designing bespoke furniture.

 Be part of our team regarding buying, unpacking, checking, storage and repacking of all goods sold in store.

 Take an interest in the products, learn about them and be able to talk about them with customers.

 Placing customer orders and following these orders through to delivery.

 Conversing daily with suppliers via telephone, email and in person.

 Changing our showroom displays, hanging pictures, mirrors & displaying/installing lighting. 

 Travelling to exhibitions to find new products.

 Visiting customers' homes, either to help with design or to deliver an item. 

 Maintaining & updating our website and assisting with designing advertisements & marketing.

 Working between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm, 5 days per week, including Saturdays. Days off are Sundays and one day during the week, plus holidays. Occasionally they may need to come in earlier or stay later than usual.

The applicant must be punctual, well presented and confident. Must also be hard working, have good practical skills, be enthusiastic and conscientious.

The applicant would ideally have a background in customer service, retail, or interiors/furniture in order to be able to quickly integrate into a busy working environment. 

The position will offer a good rate of pay with the potential for increases.
